What is included in the rent?
Rent includes all bills: electricity, gas, water, council tax & high speed broadband. It also includes a weekly cleaner for the communal areas, you only have to clean your own room and en-suite!
What furniture is provided in my room?
Every room has a bed, mattress & mattress protector, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk and chair.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to bring a duvet, sheets, pillows and pillow cases & towels.
Will I need to bring any pots and pans to use in the kitchen?
All kitchen equipment is provided including pots and pans, cutlery, plates, mugs and glasses.
Will there be any cupboard space in the kitchen or do I need to keep everything in my room?
All of our kitchens have cupboard, fridge and freezer space pre-allocated to each room. Some have additional cupboard space allocated in the utility rooms.
What is the Wi-fi reception like in each house?
All our houses have wi-fi and we source the best provider available in the area. This is re-analysed every year, and if we can find a supplier with better speeds we transfer to the new supplier.
Who lives in the house?
Do you accept Housing Benefit?
Unfortuantely we do not take DSS tenants, our tenants are all working professionals.
How long is the tenancy contract?
We have a standard 6 month tenancy agreement, but most of our tenants stay significantly longer than that. Our average tenancy is over 18 months.
Can I share a room with my partner or friend?
We have a limited number of rooms that are suitable and licensed for couples. We will state on our advert if we accept couples for that particular room.
Will I need a reference?
You will need to supply details of your previous landlord and current employment details. We will also need sight of your last 3 months bank statements.
How long does the application process take?
Once you have decided on your room, the application process usually takes around 1-2 weeks. The quickest time has been one day!
